Pearlfisher is a small cottage with heaps of personality. Popular with couples, it can also accommodate a couple of kids. This friendly, well-decorated retreat occupies a perfect spot, not on the beach but seconds from it, with the shop and restaurants a mere stroll round the corner.

If you want to dash to the beach for a quick dip it isn't a big deal. Same situation if you run out of milk. But for all this convenience Pearlfisher is private and quiet.

An intimate backyard is sheltered by a towering jacaranda and hoop pine. However, there is always a sheltered sunny spot in winter. Sheer bliss.

Pearlfisher is a modest fibro with an architect designed interior. White walls, well-designed contemporary furniture and cedar doors and blinds create an uncluttered look. It's cool and beachy, but sunny on winter afternoons. Air conditioning keeps temperatures down in summer. During winter you will adore the cosy wood-fired heater positioned close to the sofas and television set. If you want togetherness, the scene is set.

Facilities:

Main Bedroom: Warm timber furniture is matched by cedar blinds and sliding doors. There is a built in robe and door to the bathroom. The queen size bed has a doona, blanket and, in winter, an electric blanket too. Outside is a leafy, private paved area.

Second Bedroom: In here is a sofa that opens to form a double futon and one single bed. Reading lamps, shelves and a built-in robe create a pleasant room.

Kitchen: White, cheerful and well-equipped, you will find modern appliances, decent glassware and dinner service to make eating-in a pleasure.

Bathroom: Shower, toilet and vanity share space with a small laundry tub, washer and dryer. All modern, of course.

Living-Dining Area: Thoughtful design makes this an inviting space. Bright sofas, shag rug, wood-fired heater, television, coffee table and a generous dining setting create an intimate atmosphere. Well-chosen modern art adds to the contemporary atmosphere. There is a DVD player with a good mix of current and classic movies, modern books, magazines, CD's and games. You won't be bored.

Outside: A dining setting and gas BBQ will see you spending many nights in this intimate space. There is also a padded recliner under the trees and you will appreciate the outdoor shower in the backyard when you return from the beach.

Undercover Parking: There is a roofed, almost fully enclosed carport and space for one more vehicle in the open.

For Your Comfort:

Reverse-cycle air conditioning and a wood heater (logs provided in winter).

We Provide:

Pillows, blankets, doonas. There is an iron, hair dryer, vacuum if you need it.

Thoughtful extra such as insect spray, citronella candles and firelighters are stored under the kitchen sink.

You Bring:

Bed linen, towels, tea towels and all your own toiletries and food.

Pearlfisher is a block from the general store if you forget something. Bring your liquor supplies as none is available in Pearl Beach.
